Kawartha/Haliburton Victim Service (KHVS) works in collaboration with emergency services to provide immediate emotional and practical support to victims of crime and tragic circumstances. 

We seek to empower victims and survivors of crime and tragic circumstances with emotional and/or practical support and resources to cope with the impact of victimization. Early assistance and support, whether in-person or by telephone, may assist individuals to cope by reducing victimization, potential re-victimization, and retiring self-reliance.
