TCA helps with the costs of cleanup in the immediate aftermath of a suicide.
When police engage Victim Services for support following a suicide, TCA services will be offered and arranged through Crime Scene Cleaners. Emotional support and practical assistance following the suicide will also be provided.
TCA can be arranged through Victim Services when:
- The suicide occurred in Ontario
- The applicant is an immediate family member, or an individual who is impacted (i.e.: close friend, roommate) of the deceased individual who died by way of suicide
- TCA funding is required as a last resort.
